The World Cup soccer in South Africa is more or less dominating the news here in The Netherlands and daily live too for that matter, with orange showing up everywhere. I’m not that much of a soccer fan, so I really can’t be bothered before we reach like quarter- or even semi-finals. But I do like a good party! And in that respect I remember the awesome party we had two years back at the International Hajraa Outdoor Tournament when Holland beat France 4 to 1 in the European Championship. Man… what a rush to watch that match with 5000 people in one tent!

While the Hajraa Outdoor Tournament is in fact a volleyball tournament, soccer still precedes if there’s a World Championship at stake. So, with the match unfortunately being early Saturday afternoon, the tournament schedule will be adjusted to watch the match against Japan on one big screen. Just as in 2008!

I’m looking forward to shoot pictures at this event again, expect a selection of shots on this website soon! The question remaining is…
